We are a group of local citizens from Gem County committed to preserving the agricultural heritage and rural character that make our community special. Our mission is to protect the land, lifestyle, and values that have sustained families here for generations. We are especially concerned about the rapid expansion of gravel pits in our area. These operations pose serious risks to our community, including increased heavy truck traffic, threats to water and air quality, and long-term impacts on farmland and property values. By coming together, we aim to ensure that growth in Gem County respects both our environment and the people who call this place home. Through grassroots organization, civic engagement, and community education, we are working to give residents a strong, unified voice in shaping the future of our county.
